Governors State University's Visual Arts Gallery's 2009 Juried Student Exhibition runs from Wednesday, April 8, through Thursday, May 14.The exhibit displays the work of GSU graduate and undergraduate art students. Works chosen for the exhibit will include paintings, drawings, photography, digital imagery, sculpture, and printmaking.
Best of Show, second and third place cash awards will be juried by Mark Zlotkowski of DePaul University.
Opening reception and awards ceremony: April 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. The public is invited to attend the exhibit. For more information, contact the Visual Arts Gallery at (708) 534-4021.
